Buy Nothing Day encourages us to take time out, find a new activity, rediscover old hobbies, get involved in BND demonstrations, learn more about the multitude of effects that our society has on other parts of the world, consider transport miles and the consequent emissions, understand how much waste can be produced from the unnecessary packaging and excessiveness of what we buy, and realize how we depend on shopping, so easily falling into it as a spare time activity.

The project Spaţiul Public Bucureşti | Public Art Bucharest 2007 creates a platform for transdisciplinary discussions and debates exploring how public art encourages a critical engagement with the structures of power which are dominant in the public sphere.

An Invitation To The Gatwick No Border Camp 2007
From 19th to 24th September 07 we will gather at Gatwick Airport for the first No Border Camp in the UK. This camp will be a chance to work together to try and stop the building of a new detention centre, and to gather ideas for how to build up the fight against the system of migration controls.
On the anniversary of the Serbian 'revolution' we hold our fourth QueerBeograd festival:our very own 'Sexual Revolution'.On October 5, 6,7th we gather for three days of queer politics, performances, parties, actions, picnicking and visibility. To see each other and celebrate our own sexy resistance, to energise ourselves and hear each other's stories of the revolution we all make everyday.
This year Ecotopia will take place in Aljezur in the south of Portugal between 4th and 19th of August.
We would like to invite you to come and contribute to the program by giving workshops, presentations, discussions and screenings on the theme of migrations and any other topic or issue. Groups, networks and individuals are welcome to present their work, and also to have meetings within Ecotopia.
EYFA is organizing three nights in a row of video screenings and presentations in Amsterdam. Videos screened by Dmedia (Romania), Videoaktiv e.V. (Germany), Navinki (Belarus), Candida TV (Italy), and NoBorders London (UK). Presented in three different venues: Broeinest (July 2), Operating Theatre / Chequepoint (July 3) and Joe's Garage (July 4).
